CAMPING OPPORTUNITIES Milwaukee County Council - Boy Scouts of America 330 South 84th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53214-1468 How to Make a Reservation To make reservations for use of one of the Milwaukee County Council camps, please contact the Camping Department at the Scout Service Center, (414) 443-2843. Indian Mound Scout Reservation (IMR) Indian Mound Scout Reservation is named after an effigy mound built by the Hopewell Culture Indians about 1,000 years ago in the shape of a lizard or turtle. IMR, as it is called, has been in operation since 1917. The reservation consists of two camps, Camp Doerr and Camp Lazynski.

Location: 30 miles west of Milwaukee on the south shore of Silver Lake, 3 ½ miles south of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin in Waukesha County.
Uses: Webelos Resident Camp, Cub Scout/Webelos Parent & Son Weekends, Cub Scout Day Camp, weekend unit camp outings, winter cabin camping (cross country skiing, snow shoeing), Camporees, Klondikes, adult leader training and day activities.
Seasons: The camp is a twelve month facility with June, July and August used for summer camping programs and weekend and day use available year-round except when a major holiday falls on a weekend.
Facilities: Complete summer camping facilities with a dining hall, ten sleeping cabins for non- summer use, hiking and skiing trails, COPE Course, fishing lake and ponds, camporee sites, and tent campsites.
Cabin Use Size: Christl (16), Sentinel (16), Harnischfeger (20), Rotary (24), Journal (24), Stowe (24), Teerlink (36), Scout (38), Explorer (40), and Fun Lodge (50).
Special Notes: Check in and out with Camp Ranger or Campmasters. Recycling in place, no styrofoam. Trading Post is open during summer camp and weekends. Camp equipment and canoes are available for rent.

LeFeber Northwoods Camps LeFeber Northwoods Camps are made up of three camps, Camp Baird, Camp Neidhoefer, and Camp Demmer. The summer program for camps Baird and Neidhoefer are conducted through one central staff. Camp Demmer offers a lone troop opportunity. The camp is in a beautiful setting with abundant wildlife and great fishing on Hardwood Lake. Acres: 1,140
Location: 220 miles north of Milwaukee about 9 miles northwest of Wabeno, Wisconsin in Forest County.
Uses: Boy Scout Summer Camp with patrol cooking.
Season: Summer Camp is offered during six weeks of the summer.
Facilities: Complete summer camping facilities including commissary, trading post, administration building, shooting sports area, chapel, nature lodge, health lodge and aquatics area.
Special Notes: Campwide meals are served in the Camp’s Rendezvous Area on Sunday night. Special program opportunities include the “Master Camper” program for first year Scouts, bike trek, lumberjack area, the Riley Outpost, backpacking, canoeing overnighter, wind surfing, and snorkeling. Off camp opportunities include Camp 5, an authentic logging camp with a steam locomotive, logging museum and nature museum, whitewater rafting, and Horsemanship merit badge and trail rides.

Camp Erin Camp Erin became the property of QuadGraphics, Inc., in 1997. As part of the terms of the sale, we have reserved a few weekends a year for the next 30 years have been established for Scout camping. This is a beautiful camp for tent camping. The property includes a tree farm of white pine, a hardwood forest, rolling grassland, a pond and a river. On a clear day, Holy Hill is visible from camp. The camp is ideal for nature and ecology study with a wide variety of plant and wildlife.

Uses: Unit weekend camping, Camporees, Klondike derbies, day activities, pond fishing, and nature hikes.
Location: 40 miles northwest of Milwaukee near Hartford, Wisconsin.
Season: The camp is available for Scout usage on six weekends which include the 4th weekend in January, 3rd weekend in April, 3rd weekend in June, 2nd weekend in July, 3rd weekend in September and the 3rd weekend in October.
Facilities: Tent campsites, latrines, year round water supply and a picnic shelter.
Special Notes: Driving in to Camp Erin sites is okay for the purpose of dropping off equipment, after which cars must be moved to a designated parking area. The use of personal vehicles is at one’s own risk. A pay phone is near the administration building. Camp equipment is not available for rent.
