Scout Heritage Museum Trade-O-Ree
This annual event held at the council office draws dealers in Scouting memorabilia from around the country. Practically anything relating to Scouting can be found at this event. You can find paper items, magazines, books, old Scouting paraphernalia, uniforms, jewelry, banners, neckerchiefs, cups, knives, bugles, or anything else associated with Scouting. Are there patches? You bet! Council shoulder strips, jamboree patches, patches from all the high adventure camps including Philmont, Region 7 Canoe Base, and Sea Base, merit badges, rank patches, position patches, camp patches, and event patches. Order of the Arrow flaps and odd shapes make up the largest single group of specialty items and you will probably find items that you have rarely seen before. Great fun for a den, pack, troop or individual. Admission is free and food can be purchased during the event. The Heritage Museum is also open during the day.
