On to Eagle Weekend
This program is designed for Webelos, Webelos Leaders and parents. The program will provide each Webelos Scout with an understanding of Boy Scouting, an appreciation of the troop, an introduction to Scouting skills and fun, a taste of true Scouting spirit, the thrill of participation, an open door to adventure, a desire to continue Scouting as a Boy Scout in a troop, an opportunity for the parent to serve the community through involvement in Boy Scouting, and a closer relationship between parent and son to get a taste of Boy Scouts and partner up with a Scout Troop. Saturday night concludes with a crossover ceremony. This event takes place at Camp Erin.

Badger Trail's Root River Trail Hike/Bike
Spring comes sooner than you think. With busy schedules we need to plan ahead. Please join us on Saturday, April 25, 2009, for the Root River Trail Hike/Bike. The hike, which is a nice introduction to spring, starts at Scout Lake Park at 8:00 a.m., and follows the Root River Parkway through Greenfield, Glendale, Hales Corners and West Allis to Greenfield Park. This is an opportunity for youth and adults alike to get some exercise and share some quality time. A parkway cleanup as you hike provides an opportunity for citizen stewardship or as a service project. A beautiful collector’s patch is provided with the each registration fee. Please contact Cary Merkl at (414) 453-1960 for additional information and registration material and visit our web site at: www.badgertrails.org.
