There are many uses to which this concept of living gifts can be applied. Virtually any important event in anyone’s life can be made significant by this type of contribution. This does so much good for others, as it honors an individual or occasion, and also extends the benefits of Scouting to more of our youth. Tribute gifts are a part of the Council’s Tribute Fund and are used for the development of youth – America’s most precious resource. Amounts are kept confidential. Gifts are tax deductible. A contribution to the Milwaukee County Council Memorial/Tribute Fund is the perfect tribute. Contributions and bequests which are made to the endowment fund, along with gains from their investment transactions, will be permanently restricted and invested in perpetuity.
