Service Project looking for workers! [posted 7/8/08]

A West Allis woman, badly injured in an accident, needs your assistance. She has been hospitalized for almost a year and needs to get her yard and garage in order so her kids can come back home.

Here is what is needed:
Yard work. mowing, raking, and trimming; garage cleaned out and organized; building shelves in her kitchen.

Interfaith - Southwest Neighborhood Outreach to Older Adults
This program operates out of St. Alphonsus Church in Greendale. The area of ministry for this group is to neighborhood older adults in an effort to keep them living independently in the community for as long as possible. Services include snow shoveling, shopping, transportation, visiting, and light housework, as well as providing information on home health care, housing, meals, and other related concerns.
